Fully automatic plug assembly line

I. Project Background

To achieve fully automatic assembly and tightening of the plugs installed on the valve blocks at the production site.

II. Project Requirements

1. The entire production line shall be fully automated;

2. There are a total of 7 types of valve blocks, with the plugs for these valve blocks available in two sizes: G1/4 and G1/8;

3. The number of devices required shall be determined based on the quantity of plugs needed;

4. Operation time: 12 hours; Shifts: two shifts;

5. The equipment fixtures must be replaced manually by workers.

Overview of the equipment

• Total production capacity: ≥ 240 units per 12 hours (for 7 different valve block models);  

• Equipment uptime: ≥ 95% (downtime caused by human error or defective materials is not included in this figure);  

• Good product quality rate: ≥ 95%;  

• Equipment noise level: ≤ 75 dB;  

• Footprint: Length × Width × Height = 3500 × 9800 × 2000 (this does not include the space required when the doors are open);  

• The production line features proper grounding and excellent electrical safety characteristics;  

• It is controlled by Siemens PLC programs, with a human-machine interface available;  

• Sensor brands: Keyence, Sick, Omron, etc.;  

• Pneumatic components brand: SMC.
